Grounded in the Work of
Dr. Robert Terry

Dr. Robert (Bob)Terry wrote extensively about authentic leadership. His book, Authentic Leadership: Courage In Action introduced the Authentic Action Wheel that provides the basis for leadership training materials that have been successfully used by thousands.

Bob Terry worked alone for many years however, in the last years of his life, he partnered with others to more fully explore the possibilities and implications of his leadership theories on a national and global scale.

Bob was diagnosed with ALS/Lou Gehrig's disease in 2001 and passed away in 2002. In his desire to have his leadership work carried forward, Bob Terry bequeathed his intellectual property to several of his partners.

The AWL Group continues to develop, publish and promote innovative authentic leadership training materials. Many of our products and services are based on the extensive resources in the legacy left to us by Dr. Robert Terry. Other products and services are more recently developed by our talented group of partners and associates.
